Real stunning rocks.Formed 300 million years ago.But it is all gravel road into the national park so 4wd needed. And also some campsites in there.Just take enough water and drive very safely. Also you can take helicopter tour but cost you some money.Highly recommended.

Not having been to Australia having seen these on their Xmas stamps sent from a second cousin once removed I'd love to go. Last big hols was NZ, that was fantastic as was Canada, Japan, Poland, Switzerland so we're willing to go anywhere. One thing I'd say - if you get the chance and can afford it, never say no as you only live once!

The Bungle Bungles top our list of most spectacular landscapes of many fantastic sites of the Kimberley Region. Apart from the iconic beehive" domes

One of the best national parks that I've been to in all of Australia. Yes the road in is pretty brutal and long, but it is well worth it. I did most of the south end hikes in one day, and a couple of the shorter north end hikes in the afternoon. The campsites were really nice and tidy, the toilets a little smelly but you are out bush. I was pleasantly surprised to find I had Optus reception in the campsites too

Such a beautiful place the roads into the bungles is rough and long so take your time there is a ranger station you can get flights over the bungles toilets at all locations throughout the park well worth a visit

This is an awesome NP which has stunning walks that all look so different. The drive is quite corrugated with 5 creek crossing varying from 30-40 cm in height. We lowered our tyres before going in to make it easy. We did mostly every major walk and covered 25 km that day, so it can be done and was well worth it. The Cathedral in Piccaninny was a highlight as well as the Echidna Chasm. We lost our front number plate so check if it’s on tight before you go in!“Jonique Life”Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

Absolutely in awe by this magical place that nature has to offer. A very unique part of the world. Only accessible via 4wd, as there are a few river crossings along the way and the road in general is not great but it is 110% worth it if you have one. Would have loved to have stayed here for a week, as there is so much to do but as we were staying at the Savannah Lodge, it becomes quite $$$.

This is the most fabulous place to experience. And best to top it off with a helicopter ride where you can view the vastness from above - although it made me feel a bit dizzy and nervous floating over these massive russet rocks that emerged from the water aeons ago. Walking around them is terrific but absolutely breathtaking from the air.

One of our favourite national parks that we have visited in Australia - was truly a treat. We went at a time of year that was on the hot side, with days at 40c+, but was lovely walking through the gorges and was cool enough. We were also blessed that not many people were around and could soak up the magnificent atmosphere that these natural wonders had to offer ✨

In 2015 we flew over the Bungles Bungles (Purnululu NP) and crossed it off our bucket list of the must do and must see" places in life.Due to our extended covid19 Australia trip we put them back onto the list 2021 - this time to see them from the ground. WHAT WOULD WE HAVE MISSED OUT ON!It turned out to be one of our highlights of this trip walking the Dome - Cathedral gorge but particularly Echidna chasm - the reason the Bungles Bungles made it into the world heritage listing. Accompanied by our little 3year old as our walking tracks leader - truly breathtaking stuff.Towing our AOR camper the track in and out was far from easy. Despite the grader was through a couple of weeks prior - the drive needs good 4x4 equipment- front and back - and an experienced captain. All tyres deflated to 28psi also the camper an absolutely must. Several creek crossings- some with very steep entry or exit points - put demand on the towing vehicle and the camper. I put my LC200 in low gear after about 20km in to ease the pressure on the automatic. Lots of fun and excitement- if you have the right gear. We took 1.5hrs for 53 km drive to the visitor centre
